Five Horses Tavern is conveniently located in Davis Square, walking distance of the Red Line, Somerville Theater, Tufts University, Davis Square Theater and Porter Square. Our mission is to serve modern American comfort food, incorporating locally sourced ingredients, with many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Our friendly staff will make a memorable experience whether you join us for lunch, dinner or our highly acclaimed weekend brunch. We are a fantastic venue for hosting large groups and intimate dinners. Our Bar offers a wide variety of craft beers from around the world, boasting 37 draft beers, 120 bottles, signature cocktails and a thoughtfully selected wine list. Join us on the patio or saddle up to the bar and admire our selection of over 150 bourbons and whiskies from around the globe. Reservations are recommended, however walk-ins are always welcome!

Margeaux Supper Parlor presents a novel way to experience dinner by telling stories through cuisine. Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!). Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios. Margeaux Supper Parlor serves New American cuisine, blending dishes inspired by the two most historic port cities in the country: New Orleans and Boston. Dinner plates include: Tomato & Bacon Jam Deviled Eggs (topped with a fried Maine oyster), Lamb Lollipops with cherry reduction, Pumpkin Ravioli, Beef Wellington, Shrimp & Boursin Grits, and Maple Bourbon Steak Tips.Brunch is also served in themed collections and includes items such as: Quiche Lorraine, Fried Chicken & Sweet Corn Waffle, Eggs Benedict, and a Black Forrest Waffle.

    Krasi delivers a bustling, upscale Mediterranean dining experience with standout Greek dishes and attentive service in a slightly cramped setting. Although my table by the door felt drafty and some offerings, like the octopus, seemed pricey for their portions, the tableside tzatziki preparation and especially the flavorful, filling lamb made it worthwhile. The knowledgeable staff’s thoughtful wine recommendations and the overall quality of ingredients make Krasi an ideal choice for special occasions or a memorable date night.

    I liked the design of the menu—lots of really interesting options to temp us and the execution in the kitchen was very good. Service was also a plus. The music volume was so loud we had difficulty hearing our server and each of the four dishes we ordered arrived at the table lukewarm. It was a positive experience overall and I would go back, but I would only recommend it with caveats.

    This was the sixth or seventh year we have had our holiday lunch at Harvest. The food was superb and the wait staff is wonderful and gracious - especially as we litter the table with wrapping paper and a gift exchange over dessert. Harvest has not disappointed us yet! The burgers are always amazing, the Moules Frittes are the best I have ever had, cocktails are delicious and inventive (all except the Pilot which was sent back by 2 of us for being too syrupy), and the duck special was tender and delicious. Bon appetite!

    Jonathan was a great server. My family and I were celebrating a bday as well as having a holiday dinner. Everything was great and new food items were delicious, such as Sticky Korean Ribs and Spicy Calabrian Pasta.
