Paya is an exuberant, island-inspired restaurant and bar located on Miami’s South Beach founded by Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Chef Niven Patel, the duo behind FEAL Hospitality. It is a platform for Chef Niven Patel to pay homage to the insular cuisines of the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Spain’s islands, where he and Mo have either worked or visited extensively. Chef Niven’s dishes incorporate ingredients he grows at Rancho Patel, complemented by vibrant wines and tropical, farm to glass cocktails. The restaurant features 56 dining room seats, 25 bar seats, and 8 raw bar seats, with a gorgeous display of fresh seafood. Expect to jam to some Manu Chao style music while basking in the vibrant island vibes and flavors. South Beach has been home to Mo since he moved to Miami in 2016, and Paya is his thank-you to the community that supported him through his journey.

A regional Italian restaurant, Via Emilia 9 only serves menu items that have actually been imported from Italy (flour, eggs, fruits and vegetables being the only exceptions for good reason). The pasta here is made fresh daily from these Italian ingredients.     Llegamos 3 minutos más y perdimos la reserva, nos dijeron que fuéramos a la barra que nos avisarían para ponernos en una nueva mesa, pasó una hora, nos tuvimos que acercar y habían entendido mal, nos dieron una mesa mal ubicada. La comida riquísima, el ambiente muy bueno.

    Yardbird Miami was fantastic. From our server Jonathan to management and chefs this restaurant was exceptional and me and my partner had a great birthday dinner. They even gave us a cake with candle on the house. Very clean and the food was amazing. Thank you kind people of yardbird Miami. Well be back asap!

    We enjoyed a delicious lunch, sharing plates that included Gambas al Ajillo, the Meze Board, Grilled Spanish Octopus, and Spicy Rigatoni. For dessert, we indulged in the Key Lime Pie and Basque Cheesecake. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The host and waitstaff were exceptionally attentive and warmly welcoming, making the experience even more delightful.
