Welcome to The Mountain Room. Portland Chef Harding Lee Smith & staff are back for another unforgettable season at Sunday River. Using the best of Maine centric purveyors as backbone & honored by USA TODAY as one of the "Best Ski Restaurants", The Mountain Room is a can't miss experience. Located mid mountain at North Peak lodge, TMR mixes distinctive hospitality with tremendous views of the surrounding Mahoosuc Range. Reservations are highly recommended. Due to high volume, please advise- Late reservations will only be held for 10 minutes. A season pass or day ticket is required to access lift. Please call or stop in with any questions. Slider's slopeside location off the Lollapalooza trail and large wraparound deck make for a happening lunch spot and undefeated Best of Bethel Winner. Slide in for Italian fare created by Chef Chad Davidowicz and try some scratch made soups, Grandma Capozzolo's meatballs, Artisan flatbreads, and locally made gelato.     Spectacular. Period. A bit noisy at the bar as skiiers were coming off the mountain but nonetheless great. Best food on the mountain.

    An enjoyable dinner. We were able to sit near a window with a nice view and watch the snow cats groom the trails! Portions were LARGE, if you are not into leftovers would highly recommend sharing entrees. Tableside carbonara was fun. Service was very good. Convenient not ho have to drive or shuttle to another restaurant.

    We were a group of 12 and had requested the high-top table by the bar. There were people sitting there when we arrived so they sat us at 2 tables moved close together. At first disappointed as we have sat a couple times at the high-top and love it BUT we had Elizabeth as our Waitress and she was AWESOME!! So professional and FUN!! Definitely worth sitting at the other tables just to have her as our waitress !!!! Food was delicious, drinks not as good as we had remembered but great night !
