Built in 1880, The Inn was at one time a brothel, until it was raided by federal officers. The Inn was a favorite site of cowboys and teamsters, who appreciated the fine foods and jovial atmosphere.Over 100 years later, the Inn at Tres Pinos is now a San Benito County Historical Landmark, carefully restored by owner, Mike Howard. The ambiance is intimate, rustic, and elegant. It’s country with a touch of class, and decorated in a style that is a reflection of Mike’s personal interest. Mike's grandfather taught him the the art of fly-fishing, and every year the family still fishes together at the Big Wood River in Sun Valley, Idaho. Mike married Mary along the Big Wood River in 2010, and the Inn has become a true family affair. Mike’s philosophy is “Keep it fresh and keep it simple.” His staff is personally hand picked and will make every effort to meet your expectations. The Inn at Tres Pinos is the only four-star restaurant in San Benito Country.

At Chama Nativa we serve a Traditional Southern Brazilian Rodízio. Our Prix-Fixe Menu, includes two courses. It provides the opportunity to enjoy a variety of Prime Meats including beef, chicken, pork and lamb, which we season and carefully fire-roast to expose the natural flavors contained in the meats.A meal begins with a trip to our gourmet salad bar, featuring an extensive selection of the freshest vegetables as well as a mix of some of the most flavorful composed salads and hot dishes.     it was our anniversary and we had never been there before. Easy booking online, choice of where to sit and excellent service. The food was amazingly delicious and order the minestrone soup was so comforting too We will be back !! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

    Amazing service from start to finish beginning at the hostess stand. We never had to worry about whether our server was coming back to check on us, he also had an assistant server who cleared plates and checked in on us as well. (The check in’s were not overbearing). Food was phenomenal, we had the 14h NY strip, clams, oysters, olive bread & sea salt and a bottle of Daou Cab. Great ambiance, cool setting - there is even a display of oysters on the wall with rocks behind a metal bar caging. The bathroom also had a unique approach to soap- used an essential oil infused salt! Highly recommended and will definitely return on our next trip to Monterey!

    The restaurant ran out of surf & turf supply, we were offered alternatives. The food is equally good, however, the price difference wasn’t mentioned. We thought the price of the alternate would be close to the original order. No, ot was 50% more. The service was great.
