Bacari Sherman Oaks is a Venetian-inspired small plates restaurant featuring Mediterranean-influenced dishes by Chef Lior Hillel. We are the 6th restaurant of Kronfli Brothers, a family-owned, growing group of restaurants in the Los Angeles area. Nestled in the canyons of Bel Air, SHU is a dining experience like no other - a fusion of Japanese, Italian and Latin flavors and influences. The menu features traditional dishes as well as signature offerings, inspired by Giacomino Drago’s love of blending Japanese, Italian and Latin cuisines. SHU’s environment is well-suited to singles, couples and families. The bar seats up to ten people and there is a special booth that seats six people. Private dinning room is available to accommodate up to 12 guests. Signature dishes included halibut carpaccio with sun-dried tomato, Kobe Beef sashimi and albacore sashimi with shaved truffles.

Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Casa Vega, in Sherman Oaks, opened its doors in 1956 and has been serving the people of Southern California ever since. Local residents, and even celebrities, have flocked to the family-run Mexican restaurant currently run by Christy Vega Fowler, daughter of original owner, Rafael Vega. While the decor is modern, the menu still reflects traditional Mexican menu staples. The extensive menu allows for every person to find something to enjoy. Homemade house guacamole, or one of the many soup or salad options, make for a great starter. The entree options are plentiful.     This was our first time at Bacari Sherman Oaks, after going to locations in Silver Lake and Third Street in Los Angeles - and it was every bit as good, if not more impressive, than their other locations. Our server, Casey, was fantastic. The setting is exquisite, and the food is absolutely sensational. We have some favorites that we always (and will always) order: Carmelized Pork Belly, Caprese, Brussells Sprouts, Lamb Hummus. We brought friends who had never been to any of the Bacaris and they loved it as well. We'll be back VERY soon!

    Our dinner was absolutely wonderful! Starting with the hostess greeting us at the door asking about our reservation and letting us know they were a little behind. We were seating about 15 min past our reservation but all went well. Our waiter was excellent, giving us suggestions as we made our selection. After our dinner finished, we were surprised with 3 different deserts, on the house! We absolutely loved the Beignet's! So delicious! Thank you Baltaire for a lovely evening!
