North Carolina chef and restaurateur, Jim Noble founded Rooster’s: A Noble Grille with the intention of being relevant without being trendy and to impress without being pretentious. That commitment has carried us through two decades and continues to lead us on today.Knowing that simple food is harder to execute given there is nowhere to hide the flaws, we go to great lengths to source quality ingredients from local farmers and purveyors. We then take all the time necessary to develop their flavors —using both European and modern techniques—always working from scratch.Our menu features tried and true staples like our spit­-roasted chicken cooked over open fire as well as progressive daily​ specials and elevated Small Plates featuring Executive Chef Brad Pennell. Enjoy the panoramic view of large oaks and a rolling stream from the many window-side tables, or the large, starlight deck. Or, savor the intimate atmosphere from a comfortable sofa, and in the winter, the warmth of a crackling fireplace. Ryan's Chef creates a tantalizing selection of appetizers such as jumbo lump crabmeat, steamed mussels in garlic butter and white wine, and oysters Rockefeller. Entrees range from thick, juicy steaks and prime rib to the finest grilled fresh fish and live Maine lobster. Choose from the menu or a superb selection of specials offered nightly. Add a cappuccino and a freshly made dessert to seal the dining experience. The restaurant has been locally owned and under the same management since 1981. Ryan's has been awarded the Wine Spectator's "Award of Excellence" and is often featured in national publications. Recently awarded the DiRoNa Award for Distinctive Fine Dining.Please refer to our website for our dress code. It is enforced nightly.

    The food was excellent and generous portions, our server was attentive and very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is nice. It was our first time in. We sat at the fireplace which was great for me but they also have a lot of window seats looking out over a lit wooded area that would also be great. It was a bit loud but we were there at prime dinner time on a Saturday night so that’s to be expected. Will definitely be back.

    The menu offered so many options we wanted to try, that it took us quite a while to decide. We sampled an appetizer, a cocktail, wine, two local beers, two entrees and dessert. Everything was exceptionally good. Everything arrived hot and the pacing was perfect - not rushed and not slow. Our server, Malcolm, provided great service in spite of also serving a party of ten at the same time. We'll be back soon to sample more of the menu items we didn't have room for!

    First time and not my last! Amazing service, by Tony, and food was so wonderful. The ambiance and atmosphere was relaxed and overall a warming vibe. The Christmas decor was lovely! I can’t wait to come back!

    They had a live jazz band in the dining room, which added to the ambiance. The smoked old fashioned is one of the best cocktails I’ve had. We will 100% be back

    Whether it's old favorites like smashburgers or meat loaf or a special like today's pork tacos with quinoa and greens salad, Mozelle's delivers very good food. Today's service at a very busy lunch time was flawless. Another wonderful experience.
