The truth is, you don't become a Louisiana favorite just by putting the word "authentic" on your sign. When you've served Cajun meals as long as we have, you learn the difference between real food and a bland imitation, and our guests know it too. Grilled, fried or on ice-there's time cooked into every dish and time spent on every home cooked recipe, so that every aroma, every bite, every sip and every gathering is memorable. We've spent more than 80 years creating a recipe for something much greater than a place for a lunch break or night out.     Tragic start to NYD considering the Bourbon St attack. Brennan’s opened late, we called to confirm our reservation too. Cindy & Sheldon were great. We went w/ Sheldon’s recommendations - Eggs Carpaccio (our fav), Oysters, Eggs St. Charles + Owen’s Scotch Egg. Definitely, we did the Banana Foster. The Musicians were a great addition. We had a better experience here vs Mr. B’s Bistro last night.

    It was a rainy Saturday night my family and I had the best service with our waiter,Cameron. He made excellent suggestions for the appetizers. The bread board was wonderful,and the deviled eggs were the best ! My steak was perfect,and my daughter’s seafood gnocchi was excellent . Will definitely be back !

    We loved Don’s! We tried it because it was recommended by a local colleague of my husband. We loved the boudin balls-so tasty! I enjoyed my blackened fish, and my hubby loved his fried oyster Po boy. Our kids enjoyed their food too-a good kids menu is a plus for us. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
