At Mari (roll in Korean), Sung offers a tasting menu of street-food inspired Korean hand rolls, complemented by an extensive wine list and a selection of Korean spirits like soju and chungju.Mari is offering a $145 per person seasonal tasting menu (along with a beverage pairing for $110) that explores the many facets of Korean cuisine through small plates and inventive hand rolls.Due to the nature of our tasting menu, we are unable to accommodate vegetarian/vegan diets, gluten-free diets (if soy is not okay to consume), rice-free diets, allergies to fish, allium, sesame seeds/oil, and aversion to raw seafood. Sungchul Shim, formerly of Per Se and most recently Neta, opens his first solo project Kochi in Hell’s KitchenKOCHI - Korean for ‘skewer’- a tasting menu of skewered dishes as well as menu items inspired by traditional Korean cuisine that’s built around seasonality and balance. We are proud to present this menu as an homage to traditional Korean flavors elevated by the hand of gastronomic technique.     This is our first time to NYC and this restaurant came highly recommended, and it definitely lived up to expectations! The service was the best we have EVER had and the food was phenomenal! Abraham, our waiter, did an outstanding job and he was very attentive! We will definitely be back next time we are in NYC!

    The perfect pre-theatre dinner spot! The staff are highly attuned to the need to get to the show on time! But of course the food and service were top notch! We got there while happy hour for oysters was still going on at 1.50 each and they were fantastic. Each entree was phenomenal: duck, lamb tagine, steak frites, branzino, couscous. I’ll be back!!

    The food was delicious, fresh, with large portions and several options for vegetarians and vegans. The homemade veggie burger and rosemary fries were delicious and the sides and salads were large enough for a meal. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere became lively and louder later in the evening, but was cozy and quiet before the true dinner hour--though the seats are very close together so it would not be the ideal choice for an intimate, romantic dinner. Overall, I would highly recommend the Blue Dog Cookhouse and Bar and will definitely return if I'm in that neighborhood again.

    My friend and I chose Becco for our pre-theatre celebration of my milestone birthday. The servers could not have been nicer or more attentive. We each chose their special of ceasar salad or antipasto and entree of 3 different pastas. The food was delicious and plentiful. We couldn’t even finish it. We topped other off with the tri-flavor sorbet dessert in which they put a candle and sang happy birthday to me. It was a very special dining experience.
