Louisiana Lagniappe, located in the heart of Baton Rouge, crafts classic Southern-style cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, seasoned seafood in its warm and relaxing eatery. The homemade fried boudin balls served with remoulade and the blackened shrimp in a pineapple rum butter sauce make delicious and sharable appetizers. Some of Louisiana Lagniappe's specialty entrée dishes include the Pontchartrain sautéed fish filet topped with fried crab, honey-roasted pecans and almonds and rich hollandaise sauce, the bacon-wrapped chargrilled tuna topped with garlic beurre blanc sauce and crabmeat and the sautéed spicy barbecue shrimp. Not in the mood for seafood? Louisiana Lagniappe also has a selection of prime steaks, as well as soups and salads.     A unique dining experience with fabulous food and service. Chris and Blake went above and beyond to deliver service that was excellent and supported a fabulous meal. Our celebration was memorable due to great service and great food! Highly recommend.

    Honestly, the service could not have been better. We had three people taking care of us and they were spectacular. I couldn’t remember the name is the wine I ordered but the drink waiter remembered immediately without even looking. They were great. The only complaint I have was the Fish Katie. My girlfriend ordered it and said it didn’t taste right so I tried it. The only way I can describe it is that it tasted “dirty”. Maybe the fish wasn’t fresh, or was just a bad piece, I don’t know, but it tasted awful. She was already full by that point of the dinner so she didn’t want to say anything, but I figured I would mention it now. Other than that, the dinner was perfect and we will certainly be back!

    Evan, our server was excellent and attentive to our requests. We came specifically for the salad bar and the lobster bisque, not knowing they don’t serve the lobster bisque at lunch. Evan as well as the host went back to the kitchen and made sure we got the bisque we came for! Phenomenal service and attitude towards customer satisfaction. Well done!
