Little Italy was built by the fishing industry. Ironside attempts to continue that narrative. It's our contemporary interpretation of the classic fish house and oyster bar. Located in a historic auction house on India St we did a full comprehensive restoration of the building, with three open-air culinary hubs featuring an expansive raw bar, chefs table, and bakery. We tried to be mindful of the past while looking towards the future. A 4% surcharge will be added to all guest checks.Ironside is now taking reservations for patio and dining room seating.     The setting is Divine! The service was excellent! The heaters outside were perfect. This is the setting that makes memories. We enjoyed our time together here. I would simply say that west coast prices are just breathtakingly high and yet with all of my research Edgewater was the more affordable of everything else. They need some type of Happy Hour for sunsets in the Fall/Winter and at least on Friday, right? Maybe that’s where they make up the relatively lesser prices. But QC, Quality Control is needed. What are the odds, but a small sharp piece of glass fell off my husband’s drink! They replaced it but no effort to compensate. My mushroom risotto was really good but I got a couple bites of sand. That’s never happened before and as if that weren’t enough I am certain I pulled a hair from it but I convinced myself the cheese was stringy at the end of dinner, though nothing else was like that. I just let those go. But attention to such preparation details make the difference, yes?

    One of the best Brazilian churrasco style steakhouses in San Diego and the country! The service is impeccable and the meats are always amazing as is the salad bar. My favorites are the picanha, garlic picanha, ribeye, and the Brazilian garlic bread which you must try. The best touch is that their after dinner mints are Andes Creme de Menthe thins. Very classy!

    100% a must go if you are in the area. Salsas, guac, and tacos were all absolutely amazing. Our waitress, Rachel, was very nice and attentive, even with it so busy. We had a great time.
