We pay great attention to detail. Our restaurant is an impressive blend of a XVII century building with modern thai-inspired interior. From cutting carrots to decorating plates, our kitchen staff consists of only high class thai chefs. Our waiting staff is very professional, guest-orientated and knowledgeable, but at the same time our service is slightly less formal, because we believe it matches the cuisine we serve. The name of our restaurant, Mercato, signifies the trade route of Pomerania – via Mercatorum, which historically connected Gdańsk with Southern Poland. Our menu combines local and seasonal products with culinary trends from around the world, using the latest techniques. The four symbols which inspire our menu are rooted in history – the broad bean grain, planted by the Pomeranians in e, the noble Baltic salmon, the ‘Fagas’ which was a large Pomeranian sheep bred on Zulawy, and finally the duck, used as a symbol of birds bred for centuries in Pomerania.

    -Obsługa jest przyjemna i szybka, jedzenie niesamowicie dobre. Dodatkowo można zerknąć na przygotowywanie potraw przez przeszkloną ścianę. -Skorzystaliśmy z przystawek i kilku dań z oferty, osobom planującym wizytę wspomnę że ostre potrawy rzeczywiście są dość ostre, nie ma co hojraczyć. To jedzenie jest naprawdę dobre, to nie jest coś co sobie każdy może codziennie zrobić w domu. -Stolik dla dwóch osób mógłby być minimalnie większy, lub posiadać jakąś szufladkę/ kieszonkę gdzie można tymczasowo odłożyć menu. -Wnętrze ma przyjemny wystrój, wyróżnia się wśród innych restauracji mimo braku ryzykownych barw czy wzorów. oświetlenie jest delikatne, nie ma hałasu. Przy tym posiłku można odpocząć wizualnie, można odetchnąć od hałasu. -Otoczenie obiektu niestety już takie piękne nie jest, przynajmniej o tej porze roku. Prawdopodobnie nie wybrałabym posiłku w ogródku.

    Me and my girlfriend went for our first michelin experience here and i have to say that everything exceeded our high expectations. The evening went above and beyond and we are delighted that we chose this resturant. The staff was so attentive with their interval of serving and serving a special birthday cake for my girlfriend. The staff showed passion and knowlegde when presenting both the food and wine, this is something we really appreciated.
