We had the dragon set menu. The starters were lovely especially the oyster gyoza. The mains - honey and sesame chicken, were good but a little meh…….. just glorified chicken nuggets!! A little over done, but nice nonetheless. The ambience as always is spectacular here and the staff were lovely. Although a little annoyed that after asking for the bill, the bill was given to my son and not me!! Which ended up by him paying!! The decor is amazing……. But I feel that the menu needs a shake up to make it different from other fusion / oriental inspired eateries.

The daily menu is admirably short with a good selection of dishes to satisfy all tastes. Smoked haddock scotch egg was a first for me and outstanding. The wine we chose from a good list, red Rioja, was from 2017 and excellent. Service is just right, attentive and helpful but not intrusive, with the courses arriving with good timing. The renovated dining room is elegant although a little cramped. The atmosphere was very pleasant and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
