The meal was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The beef was tender and vegetables cooked to perfection. I had dessert, although could only just manage it after the main meal. The servers couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. Absolute bargain, soft drink, Sunday roast, Berry Sundae and coffee for £34. We last ate there in September 2023 so being keen to visit again is a strong recommendation. We both wanted the lamb shank and it was outstanding in quality and quantity. It's a really interesting building, the service was excellent, the whole experience just what we hoped for. We did, in fact, return for lunch, without booking, on Saturday as we were keen to give the Cafe Menu a try. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us( party of 5 with 2 having mobility issues). Food was good value for money and was prompt.
