STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure.     Our favorite restaurant in Knoxville with another great experience. Service is prompt and friendly. Food is fabulous. This time we enjoyed the spicy tuna bites as a starter and then shrimp and grits and chicken caprese. Craft cocktails do not disappoint - favorite is Wild Moon Child.

    This was one of the best meals we have ever had. The atmosphere is very elevated with the restaurant sitting beautifully off the river with glass throughout for views. We started things off with the ahi tuna, which had a sauce with a little kick, and it was amazing. The steak was chef’s kiss. We both got the filet with truffle crust and it was absolutely divine. Perfectly cooked at medium rare and well seasoned. My partner also added the lobster tail which was also divine. We ended things with the bread pudding which is fantastic and to our surprise it was on the house for our anniversary. Thank you for a great experience to our server, Stephen S and Slater.
