Built in 1880, The Inn was at one time a brothel, until it was raided by federal officers. The Inn was a favorite site of cowboys and teamsters, who appreciated the fine foods and jovial atmosphere.Over 100 years later, the Inn at Tres Pinos is now a San Benito County Historical Landmark, carefully restored by owner, Mike Howard. The ambiance is intimate, rustic, and elegant. It’s country with a touch of class, and decorated in a style that is a reflection of Mike’s personal interest. Mike's grandfather taught him the the art of fly-fishing, and every year the family still fishes together at the Big Wood River in Sun Valley, Idaho. If you never been at Terra at Eataly, go. The ambience reminds me of a restaurant in L.A. Menu was pricey, but tasty. 166 for an appetizer, benedict, salmone, crap cakes, latte, coffee and sales/tip. From the hostess, server, to bus person, they were polite and professional. I would go back to introduce to a newbie.

This was our first time here. Will definitely be back. One menu item we wanted to try had been removed the day before unfortunately. The service was excellent. The cocktails were also. Two things we weren’t expecting was the abundance of goat cheese in multiple dishes. We are not fans and didn’t care for that. The other was how fast our entrees came out. We weren’t even able to finish our appetizers.
