Villa Sunset II​附近的餐廳

First time here. No expectations, other than the positive reviews. Cozy family atmosphere. Prompt greeting @ front door. We were 30min early for our dinner reservation and planned to take advantage of the advertised happy hour. I was VERY disappointed no wine discounts offered during happy hour. I was told the happy hour is all vodka drinks. I don’t drink vodka so I had water. Bartender was our waitstaff. Her support staff was very attentive. She however did not check on us once our meals were served. I wanted a glass of wine with my meal. One of our party had to get up and ask for more water, our glasses were empty and a glass of wine for me. Our food was delicious. Very nicely prepared and fresh. Dessert was divine. We will return.

We were very disappointed that they were charging a 4% fee for using credit card. This is very bad business and says loud and clear that they do not care about their customers at all. We will not be back because of this one reason. It is not safe to carry cash And very rude to charge for using a credit card on that just part I’m doing business. Their prices are high enough to sustain them and we’re already paying their employees through Tips. This restaurant does not care about its customers – only about themselves. They do not even care about their employees because this extra charge Most often gets taken from their tips….

As always, the penultimate in service and food. We had the Gouda cheese appetizer special- small but very delicious! My husband had mushroom pappardelle and I had the gator island salmon, baby bok choy and the Brussels apple salad. Wine selection was very good. No room for dessert, but the dinner was delicious and I took some salad & bok chop home for lunch. Our server, Mary Jane, was wonderful- there when we needed her and helpful and very pleasant. A perfect night.

Food and service was great as usual. We’ve dined there many times, but the one thing I’ve learned about this place, is to bring a sweater. It’s always like a meat locker in there. Perhaps comfortable for the wait staff, but uncomfortable for most diners.

Another perfect experience. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the ambiance and view were beautiful! I'll be back soon!
