White Dog Cafe's newest location brings local, seasonal, and sustainable dining to Chester County. The original Vickers Tavern has been completely renovated, and the White Dog Cafe has preserved the building's history while adding chic farmhouse aesthetics and dog-themed decor. The restaurant features seven distinct dining rooms, each with its own unique personality and design. In addition, there is an expansive outdoor patio with a gas fireplace and retractable cover. The open Barn room includes a large oval bar, a sitting area by an open fireplace, and doors leading to the outdoor potting shed. We were impressed with the Thanksgiving prix fixe meal. The food quantity and quality were very good. The service and atmosphere were also impressive. Only one negative was the food temperature. The soup and main meal were not warm. Everything else was so good it was easy to overlook that issue.

Staff was attentive and on top of things. Food was excellent. Gumbo tasty and deconstructed chicken pot pie delicious. Would go again.

I am concerned that my credit card was not charged for the total amount including the tip. I called and was told the tip would be charged to my card in several days. That does not seem appropriate.
