A chic and sophisticated décor provides the setting for our distinctive "world cuisine", a provocative mix of zesty influences that creates a delightful dining experience in Palm Springs, California. Plush high-backed semicircular banquettes surround our dining room and offer comfortable and private seating. The cuisine has a light, exotic feel with an emphasis on Pacific Rim specialties, from Chilean Sea Bass baked in Banana Leaves or Kahlua-Barbecued Pork Chops to all sorts of tasty tapas, salads, wood-fired pizzas, and desserts. The Coral Seas Lounge, a hip mid-century style bar is lined with sexy black leather bar-stools and is reminiscent of the upbeat lounges of old Palm Springs. It wraps around the dining room and leads outside to a lush, tropical, 2000 square foot dining patio where a variety of specialty cocktails and old-school favorites are mixed - an ideal place where friends gather and martinis are sipped under the starlit desert sky.

Chef Mario Marfia was born in Sicily, Italy and honed his craft working as a chef in the Mediterranean. He brings those culinary and cultural influences to El Paseo in Palm Desert, and the New Downtown of Palm Springs. Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn.     We had our Valentine's Dinner with out of town friends at LuLu's. I'm so glad we picked LuLu's as our restaurant. The food and service were top notch. All of my friends enjoyed their meal. The restaurant had a violinist which made dining much more enjoyable and the restaurant was nicely decorated for Valentine's Day. I will definitely be returning for a meal in the near term. I highly recommend this restaurant and I have been a full time resident for over ten years now.

    This is our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs! The food is amazing. I had grilled prawns over a bed of pasta with a garlic sauce. The prawns were just delicious, so tender and scrumptious. My strawberry lemon drop was amazing. The last time we were here I had the raspberry lemon drop and it too was incredible. We love, love the food here and the service is lightning fast. We can’t wait to try another new dish — kudos to the chef !!

    We had a great lunch. We both had the Lite lunch with a grilled cheese sandwich and New England Clam Chowder. Both were wonderful. The Albariño wine and the Champagne Cocktail were outstanding as well. Service were attentive and prices are moderate. We are locals and long time Spencer’s customers and will be back.

    We went to dinner at Melvyn’s last night with our friends and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious, that atmosphere wonderful and our server, Jose’ was very attentive and friendly. We will be back!

    What a gem! Terrific food where some old standards are given a little twist. The General Tso cauliflower is unrecognizable…in a good way. They do a thing with chicken in a deviled egg that makes you wonder which came first. Staff prompt.attentive and friendly; prices reasonable. In a great spot for doing some home design shopping, then discussing over dinner. Four stars.
