Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Amalfi Cucina & Mercato - Downtown Atlanta is a traditional Neapolitan trattoria centered around an open kitchen featuring a 6,000 pound wood-burning brick oven imported from Italy. The 170 seat dining room also has large semicircular booths, custom wrought iron chandeliers along with Juliet balconies overlooking an Italian-inspired entryway. Originating in and the true pizza of Naples in the 1600s, Vera Pizza Napoletana is 12 inches or less in size, made from simple fresh quality ingredients from the Campania region of Italy and cooked at temperatures in excess of 900 degrees in approximately 60 seconds.     Absolutely great place!Service impeccable and including Management going above&beyond.Very beautiful establishment and I will be coming back and with business for them.Loved the versatility and style of establishment.Entertainment was ok and looking forward to coming to other events that they have.Food was very good

    Wonderful experience! The ambiance was very nice and the service was phenomenal. We were there at the end of lunch, but my husband wanted a steak. While we were willing to settle for the lunch menu which did not include steaks, the server was very accommodating and came back to offer my husband the opportunity to get a steak. This made my husband's first experience great! Thank you!

    It was our ten year anniversary so after ordering oysters (delicious!) and cocktails, we decided to order broiled lobster, which since they hadn’t updated the menu-they were not serving it. Okay, so we decided to go somewhere else. After explaining this to our amazing Server, O.D. He spoke to the Chef, Eddie. Eddie visited our table, apologized that the lobster was not available to be served the way we like, but he said that he would accommodate us and prepare it especially for us since it was our anniversary. He also served us a few complimentary dishes and a glass of champagne, too! The food was absolutely amazing, and we gave a generous tip to O.D in appreciation for going above and beyond. Chef’s kiss to Eddie and we will be returning.
