Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays). Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

    We had an awesome dinner to finish our week in Oahu!! Our server was Evan who asked if we were celebrating anything and we were there for our 18th wedding anniversary and our birthdays which all fall in the same week but had celebrated them a few times earlier in our trip so I didn’t mention it in my reservation but did tell him that was why we were visiting Oahu. He congratulated us a few times throughout the evening which was very sweet! We had the special which was a double fish dish with swordfish and mahi mahi and the popular crab topped Mac nut crusted mahi mahi as well as the panko crusted calamari steak app to start. The special was alright, you can’t go wrong with mahi mahi and the calamari was delicious!! Evan surprised us at the end with their famous hula pie and we devoured it, it was the perfect ending to a wonderful trip!!! Mahalo 💓

    We sat on the deck facing the zoo, we could see Diamond Head and the ocean. Food as great as and the Happy Hour is a great Waikīkī value.
