The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and parts of inside for groups of less than 5 people and walk-ins. If you're wanting to make a reservation for 36+ people, please visit our webpage.

I don't mean that in a sense that the place is covered in dog hair, the tv is blaring, the kids are screaming and there's lego all over the floor; more in a sense that you feel welcomed, content and at home from the minute you enter, right up until you leave. We wanted to create a place, that I myself, would want to visit on a regular basis. A place where your name is more important to us than your money is. A place where you feel like a regular from your first visit. A place where you feel like a part of our family. A place you felt you've been before. A place that feels like home.... Ok, so we have fancy wine glasses, twinkling candles, nice chairs and really shiny cutlery, but don't let that fool you... We're humble, both in our service and in our food, and pretentiousness and oversized egos were banished from the premises the day we started trading. A little gem of a place to eat and relax. Staff are amazing and food just lovely. The Open Table booking service let us down. The staff managed this beautifully.

I love this place it’s always busy, has a great atmosphere and just up the road from home in SAB. The beer (strapper) is always yum plus the pizzas are the best on the peninsula. As it was 36 degrees, it was hot and the water on the table was warm…but the lady bought some ice over to cool our drinks down. Service is always great when you’re seated in a stall as you really don’t have to move and everything is done for you plus they constantly come over to check for drinks and stuff. Food comes out quickly and is always delicious. We were seated in the 1st stall, the LIVE music was awesome. I would ask next time to be seater a bit further away as sitting that close it was hard to hear each other talk. That’s the only thing I would say, being that hot I suppose it wasn’t too bad as I didn’t have to talk much lol.

From arrival we were greeted by the owner and seated at our table. Extremely friendly waiter person introduced herself and talked us through the menu. We did the set menu and can thoroughly recommend it. It gave us a really broad experience of the whole menu. The tacos are amazing. The lamb ribs were amazing. Could not fault any of the courses we ate - fantastic cocktails to enjoy with the meal.
