In the 1920s, the building was home to a provisions merchant owned by husband and wife Emily and Charles Lums. Their shop, EA Lums & Co, was a place for locals to grab quality ingredients from a family-owned shop. Great service and ambience on show here for this new microbrewery. They need to work on some of their food menu items, however. The manager said they are trialing dishes so we happily gave him feedback. The pasta special needs recasting and the pork schnitzel was over fried. The meat was tender but the crumb was overcooked. Margarita Pizza and cheeseburger both given the thumbs up! Beer choices galore along with plenty of wine choices. Great venue for get togethers and the massive beer garden is definitely a vibe!

We had a delightful experience at Sushia Izakaya! The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it the ideal setting for our Christmas celebration. Sushia Izakaya exceeded our expectations, and I can’t wait to return!
