Thanks to the abundance of nutrients in the soil, pristine watersheds, and a mild oceanic climate designation with plentiful rain and moderate climates, our chefs, garden team, and purveyors are able to grow about 95% of what we use in the kitchen within 80 kilometers of our Estate. The fisheries and livestock farmers that we work with sustainably supply us with incredible products that our chefs combine to create memorable dishes and which showcase the terroir of Liss Ard Estate, County Cork, and Ireland in a broader sense.As proud members of Relais & Chateaux, we strive to embody the 2014 declaration at UNESCO to preserve and share true culinary techniques and to eschew shortcuts that diminish excellence.

Set in the West Cork hills near Clonakilty Town, award-winning Field Kitchen Restaurant offers an authentic farm-to-table experience, with much of the produce grown on organic Camus Farm. Beyond the Restaurant, explore nature trails with panoramic sea views, get up close to native Irish cattle, visit the kitchen garden. Sustainability, biodiversity and animal welfare at the heart of everything. Vegetarian, vegan, carnivore menus. Gluten-free, dairy-free options. Fresh, seasonal, organic food. Old world wines, draught craft beers. Tent pitches, overnight parking for diners. Dining at The Field Kitchen is different. We offer a set 4-course €80 menu determined by what is in season locally. Reservations are essential as our fresh vegetables are harvested daily to order. The first course is served shortly after 7pm. Drinks served from 6pm.​

    Myself and my daughter had the pleasure of eating at Lil’s for the first time tonight. WOW is all we can say. The amuse bouche was Devine, every mouthful was different with each sauce. I had the rabbit starter and my daughter had the scallops, both were absolute perfection, the presentation , the taste were all perfection and the home made breads were great. I had the beef mains cooked rare and my daughter had the duck, both mains came with mash and the most Devine roast carrots we’ve ever had. Our mains were simply sensational. I had the chocolate desert and my daughter had the cheeseboard and the staff were so sweet to put a birthday candle in my desert, I was blown away, thank you so much girls for the wonderful service xxx We had the pleasure of meeting Sam himself for a minute, what a gentleman and an incredible chef and a huge asset to Clonakilty. Keep up the great work guys and we wish you every success

    Our lunch was outstanding. Each course was innovative with an amazing combination of flavours and beutifully presented. All five in our party was extremely pleased with their selections and the range offered something for everyone. Service was attentive without being intrusive.
