Executive Chef Michael Degenhart has immersed himself in creating meals reflecting his vast knowledge and professional favorites. Chef Degenhart has reached out to local purveyors and partnered with vendors offering the highest quality products. Expect only the finest quality beef, fish and other culinary compositions.For our annual Chili Fest celebration on September 26th, we will be accepting reservations from 1 PM - 5:30 PM, but please contact the restaurant directly to make your reservation. The Grandote Steakhouse is located at the Grandote Peaks Golf Course (in the clubhouse) in La Veta, Colorado. Guests can eat traditional American fare prepared by our chefs - prime rib, steak, chicken, pork, salmon and other cuts of meat, plus a full salad bar with every meal, two sides and homemade rolls. We also have vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and dairy free menu options. Dress code is casual, and the wine list is sure to please. Currently open from 11 am to 8 pm Monday through Saturday. Saturdays are prime rib nights - please make reservations at OpenTable.com. Dinner is $22-$45 per person.

    What an enjoyable evening, even eating alone. I was seated at the bar and the bartender was attentive and charming. I ordered a filet with a side of the mushroom risotto. My steak was perfect, I did think the Risotto was salty. I ordered a dessert, cheesecake and an expresso. All which were wonderful. I asked to have my meal split out for expense check reasons and they happily helped me out. It will be my go too next time I am back in town.

    Steak and salmon were pretty excellent. It's still a small-town feel with hyper-local clientele. But that's the charm. It feels like burgers and brats but it's more. Sit outside and enjoy the patio at sunset for drinks or dinner, see the deer mosie along the fairway. I'll be back.

    The food was excellent. It was our first time to go to Red Lobster in Pueblo. We have been to other Red Lobster restaurants. The service was excellent, too. We enjoyed it. Thank you for making it special.
