The Folk’s Folly story began in 1977 with unconventional origins, as the best stories often do.Native son Humphrey Folk, Jr. was a prominent and shrewd developer, whose hard work carried him all over the country, cultivating his sincere appreciation of food and fine wine.Undaunted by a complete lack of restaurant or culinary experience, he decided to convert a quaint and intimate house into a small eatery. Had dinner here with some friends. We dine here fairly regularly and last night was as usual a great experience and excellent meal. The oysters both broiled and raw were great, the chicken, sea bass, tuna, and grouper were all delicious and the cocktails were on point. Thanks for another great meal

Food was excellent. My steak melted in my mouth, delicious. The spinach casserole was the best I’ve ever tasted. Also, the service was great, very personable and attentive.

What a great meal! Our server was friendly and polite, and he made great recommendations. Our food was delicious. The restaurant is lovely, with an upscale and interesting ambiance. Great place for a leisurely meal with friends, and I’m sure we’ll be back soon!

Chef Wilson was able to accommodate my gluten free diet, and my friend's diet, both gluten and dairy. He made an excellent gluten free shrimp carbonera for me and also a delicious impromptu chocolate parfait dessert for my friend. Also, the live musical performance of Pam and Terry was enormously entertaining. They are true entertainers. We had a great meal and a great evening!
