A locally owned Madison favorite, Otto's is set in a beautifully restored 1870s stone farm house with two dining levels. The menu features creative, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, fresh seafood, Certified Angus Beef steaks and more. A friendly lower-level bar serves classic cocktails and fine wines, and half-price appetizers from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday – Friday. Outdoor dining and live jazz are featured on the deck Spring through Fall, weather permitting. Otto's is also open the first Monday of each month (excluding holidays) in the Spring and Summer when live music is being performed. Main level dining area is wheelchair accessible. At the end on a long day of work tending to cattle and stock, Brazilian cowboys (Gauchos) and their families would prepare great feasts. They would skewer various meats, roast them over a fire pit and bring them to the table for carving. Our meal was excellent and the service was great. It was quite dim in the restaurant and without a small lamp or something like that on the table my parents had to use their phones to read the menus. It was not too loud which was nice and the meal did not feel rushed. The wedge salad was to die for and the steak/scallop special was mouth watering.

Consistently fine quality, in food, presentation, and service. The menu offers so many interesting options, and the flavors are beautifully chosen to make each plate distinctive. When we order beef as we did tonight it hit medium rare masterfully! Coopers has been a favorite of ours since 2016, across many states, and the Middleton, WI venue lives up to the high standards set by the company.

Bonfyre is a very good lunch spot. The steak wedge salad is a favorite. It's also a nice spot to meet and enjoy a comfortable visit with a friend. Madison, our server, was great. She was prompt, efficient, personable, but never intrusive. Great service, great, food, great location!
