The cuisine at Chef Jean-Georges’ abc kitchen reflects a passionate commitment to the freshest organic and local ingredients possible. The restaurant’s changing menu focuses on local, sustainable, seasonal produce that does not use pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, or GMOs. Meat, fish, and dairy are locally sourced where possible, from humanely treated, pasture-fed animals free of antibiotics and hormones. A rooftop garden provides herbs and microgreens. Teas, coffees, spices, wines, juices, and elixirs are organically cultivated in fair-trade cooperatives. The dining room includes found, salvaged, reclaimed, and recycled building materials.

As you step inside you’ll be transported by the Santorini aesthetic where fresh ingredients hit your senses and human interaction is a refreshing priority. Kyma’s airy, whitewashed wood design balanced by European stucco, evoke the stylized spirit of the Greek Islands. Generous seating at long white wooden tables are lined with plush, white canvas cushions. We do have a DJ for your entertainment on Thursdays in the main room and on Fridays and Saturdays DJ starts at 8 PM. During our dinner parties the music does increase in volume and becomes more upbeat as the night progresses. Please note: you must be 21 years of age to enter during our DJ hours. Fun atmosphere. Food is good, nothing special. I feel like the food used to better. That being said, fun spot to meets friends, very affordable compared to other nyc restaurants. Drinks were very good.

We ordered multiple small plates and enjoyed them all. The chicken liver melts in your mouth like butter and the grape jelly is oddly epic. The tuna tartare was fresh and light. Other dishes we enjoyed included the calamari, Brussels, and crab toast). Service and ambience were excellent as well. Can’t wait to return again soon.

A first time diner and the food, service and overall vibe was exquisite. Gabriel was our server and he was knowledgeable and attentive. They had the Christmas decor up and we literally cleared out plates. Apps, main course and dessert were excellent.
