The White Horse is nestled opposite the beatuiful church in Bradford on Tone, with a lovely river walk along the Tone just round the corner. Tim Zekki was born and raised in Cyprus but has lived and worked in the UK for 35 years. He has a passion for local and seasonal ingredients, sourcing sustainable produce and items that he forages in Somerset woodlands and along the coast. The meal, overall, wasn’t quite as good as I’ve had on previous visits, the plate hadn’t been heated and consequently the cauliflower purée was stone cold as were the greens, there wasn’t a lot of either so I just ate them with the sauce which was still nice and hot. Otherwise it was all beautifully cooked and presented.

Great service and food in a really nice atmosphere. Staff were really attentive and we enjoyed some lovely cocktails at the bar before our meal.
