Albert’s Restaurant and Bar is the second Albert’s opening and is a sister restaurant to Albert’s Shed in Castlefield. A slick, modern space with dining for 160 guests inside and a fabulous covered & heated outside dining terrace for 60 – perfect for alfresco dining. The menu is modern British with an eclectic mix of Albert’s favourites and dishes from around the globe, all using only fresh local ingredients. The restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner and every Saturday and Sunday mornings for breakfast.

Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.     We had a really lovely lunch. We had the chateaubriand to share- delicious and perfectly cooked. Service was very friendly and efficient. This restaurant never lets you down.

    We had the Turkey which was devine! Even better then last year. The service and the Christmas cocktails were outstanding, such a lovely way to spend New years day!

    Another fantastic Sunday lunch at Blacklock Manchester. Great food and lovely friendly service from Abi, Amii, Peter, and the team. Highly recommend the all-in roast, which comes with huge Yorkshire Puddings, lots of vegetables including roast potatoes (nearly as good as mine 😉), melt in the mouth beef, lamb, and pork, and a beautifully rich gravy. Save room for their bread and butter pudding - perfect comfort food. Our 6th visit to Blacklock Manchester after many years frequenting the Soho branch in London. Very pleased to have Blacklock in Manchester and wishing you all the best for 2025. Highly recommend!

    Excellent good , can really taste the quality and the flavours , would definitely return to try the rest of the menu , tiramisu is worth the hype was stunning light and not too heavy perfect to finish off a meal
