From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an elegant and memorable dining experience. The waterfront view and sleek decor create the perfect blend of sophistication and warmth. We started with the **Seafood Tower**, which was a showstopper. Impeccably fresh oysters, jumbo shrimp, king crab, and lobster were artfully arranged and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to quality and freshness. The **Lobster Fried Rice** was an unexpected highlight. The balance of tender lobster, perfectly cooked rice, and subtle seasoning made it both comforting and luxurious. A must-try side dish that could easily steal the spotlight! For the main course, the **Charcoal-Grilled Black Bass** was simply divine. Cooked to perfection with a subtle smoky char, the bass was tender, flaky, and beautifully complemented by its accompanying flavors. The service was exceptional throughout the evening, with our server offering excellent recommendations and ensuring we felt cared for at every moment. RPM Seafood delivers on every level—impeccable food, stunning presentation, and flawless service. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in the finer things, this restaurant is worth every penny. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu.

Pizza Portofino went above and beyond for our family visiting Chicago from Ohio. We mistakenly did not consider the time change booking the reservation at home for 4:00pm arriving to Chicago looking for my reservation and it said 5:00pm. They did not even hesitate to help our party get seated within 10 minutes service amazing food with excellent service and we were out of there to get to our show in time. I can’t thank them enough for saving our amazing dinner at a restaurant. We visited several times now while we’re in Chicago. Will tell others about this amazing restaurant and be back when we visit again.

This was our second time here and another home run. Beautiful place, excellent service and amazing food. We started with oysters and the king crab appetizer then had the cowboy steak, mushrooms and truffle fries. Carrot cake for desert. Everything was excellent. If I had to say anything negative, the oysters were quite small. They tasted great though. Highly recommend.

There is nothing like Christmas at the Walnut Room. The tree, the wonderful people sprinkling fairy dust, the themed desserts, the decorations, the nostalgia..... EVERYTHING. I went as a little girl and bring back generations as an adult. It makes me teary being there. Our waitress was great. Reservations right on time. The food..ehh..it is not why you go. Burger was nothing special and the fries were literally cold,cold not even just cold. Most people get the pot pie and salad. I should have tried something a little daring but was in the mood for a burger. It was a smashburger. Next year I will go with the chicken dish! I love it here at Christmas, it is Chicago. So glad they brought back the collector mugs

Did the tasting menu and wine pairing for a birthday, and had an absolutely lovely time. The wine pairings in particular were incredible, both for uniqueness of the wine itself and personality with each course. We also loved our server who offered sincere (excellent) opinions and a refreshing genuineness. The music was maybe a bit clubby, but it was a perfect volume and the rest of the ambience was well crafted.
