Reid’s Cafe is located in beautiful Sugar Mountain, NC. We love the intentional, the specific, and the well-cared-for. This was our first experience at the Beacon and it did not disappoint. We had lamb kebabs and buffalo meatballs for an appetizer. They were delicious, but would have really appreciated the server letting us know that the metal skewers were hot before we touch them. We also had fillet, lamb chops and Alaskan trout, and it was fabulous. We had a wonderful table and we had live acoustic guitar, but we were easily able to talk and it wasn’t too loud – it was just right. Wonderful time great service. Would highly recommend.
