   The restaurant wasn’t busy but it took quite a while to receive our food. Party of six. Overpriced but it’s a very nice location inside The Mission Inn.

   Beautiful outdoor patio in a lovely historic plaza. Our waiter Ivan was very attentive and accommodating with us. The food was very good and I really enjoyed the margarita drink and flan dessert.

   Las Companas is a beautiful place. We have been going there since it opened. The menu seems to be shrinking in options and the food is acceptable if increasingly somewhat overpriced. The staff, from the hostess who greets you to your waiter, is in serious need of training on the importance of eye contact, smiling and pleasant communication. It was as if we were interrupting them by being there. We almost left before ordering. With all the new dining options in downtown Riverside, I will think twice before going back. It's really a shame!

   This restaurant is nice to come to for the ambiance. The food Is decent. You can get much, much better Mexican food at any number of restaurants around town. It’s pricey but you’re paying to eat at a five star hotel. We had reservations and had to wait about 5 minutes before anyone came around to notice us and the hostess looked a little annoyed. Bad day maybe? Our server, however was very attentive and efficient. Our food was brought out timely and hot. I had the steak fajitas and they were average in taste, nothing special. Portion size was plenty. They came with a side of rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. We had to ask for more tortillas as there was not enough.

   The cactus rose margarita was outstanding. Chicken tacos were excellent. Ambiance was to notch. We'll return for sure.

   Overall very good. Drinks are crazy expensive. Chips were very greasy/oily. Chicken fajitas were way over seasoned and more spicy than usual. Rice was over seasoned. Shrimp dish was very good. Chicken enchiladas and chili verde were good. Great ambience.

   Food was delious, atmosphere was delightful and their service was stellar. It's been awhile since I have had such great service. I'll look forward to my next visit.

    Beautiful outdoor seating with fire pit and lovely live soft back ground music. The service was great waiter very attentive and on top of things. Food well let’s say it’s not 100% authentic Mexican food. Tortilla soup a little on the salty side. My chicken salad was ok nothing to brag about. The cheese enchiladas were loaded with yellow cheese and the beans looked dry not too appealing. What was actually good was the Guacamole and chips. Wish they would offer a spicy salsa the one they give you is not for true Mexicans lol, more on the can tomato type of salsa.
