Welcome to L'Auberge Chez François, our French country inn a short distance from the nation's capital that has captivated visitors for over 66 years. L'Auberge Chez François is the ideal spot to celebrate special moments, private parties, luncheons, weddings, and cooking demonstrations. Our menu is extensive and full of the flavors of Alsace and traditional French cuisine. Excellent food and service, attention to detail, and a casually elegant atmosphere are hallmarks that have made L'Auberge Chez François a Washington favorite!     We have been regulars for years to this fine establishment. The service, good food and ambience is always appreciated for a great meal. We love that the menu rotates, but the service remains the same- you are treated well, the food is amazing and the accommodations are impeccable. Love this place and will be coming back for years.

    While this restaurant has consistently good food and the ambience is quite nice, the restaurant's prices are high and the portion sizes are modest. It is an expensive outing. Even the mixed drinks are relatively modest in size (but not the prices). It is appropriate for a special occassion.

    Best value, best food, best service in VA/DC/MD. Cannot say more about the restaurant although the fact that my wife and I drive 30+ miles on most Sundays for brunch/lunch could/should say it all.
