Lavendou, a retreat into the French countryside - a place where life is savored as much as the food. Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal Cayet is dedicated to providing service that is friendly and efficient. And you will find Chef François Soyez's menu to be deliciously approachable. Serving the lighter fare of Southern France, Lavendou offers many items to tempt your taste buds.

                                                              I have never been disappointed. Love the sole, smoked salmon, veggie & rice preparation. Sauces are awesome. Cappuccino is now my fave dessert! We dine there once a week.

                                                              Tasty, classically prepared French cuisine with excellent service and customer first treatment. Dishes were outstanding in quality, portions, sides and sauces. Even the pomme frites were on a different and higher level than your average french fry. It's always a special treat to dine here, whether a casual lunch or a special dinner. It's also a wonderful pleasure to have the same friendly, consistent and helpful staff, from Bernard to Raphael to Sebastian and Pascal.

                                                              Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and funny. The food was brought out hot, perfectly cooked, and delicious! The restaurant is cozy without being crowded. Best French restaurant in Dallas for us.

                                                              Lavendou is one of the best restaurants in the Dallas area, and one of the most overlooked. It serves classes rustic French food of the best quality. We strongly recommend the duck, the veal, the salmon and more.

                                                              Valentine’s Day was crowded and energetic but service was still impeccable. The set menu had great choices which were well prepared. We hadn’t been there in years and it did not disappoint.
