Lavendou, a retreat into the French countryside - a place where life is savored as much as the food. Lavendou is thoroughly French, from the inviting decor to the gracious service and authentic cuisine. But don't expect it to be pretentious. Owner Pascal Cayet is dedicated to providing service that is friendly and efficient. And you will find Chef François Soyez's menu to be deliciously approachable. Serving the lighter fare of Southern France, Lavendou offers many items to tempt your taste buds.

                                                              This used to be a charming restaurant. New Year’s Eve was incredibly rushed with a three course dinner being served inside of 40 minutes! I watched the chefs take out the food that was already pre-plated and simply thrown into the oven for a reheat. Unfortunately, it was then served, drowning in sauce. It was incredibly clear that the restaurant was trying to get people in and out in a 60 minute timeframe to turn over the tables. I would say, unfortunately, this will be my last time dining at this restaurant. After years of dining here with my family. I was incredibly disappointed.

                                                              Exceptional service, and the food was beyond the highest standards available. The veal was superb. Escargot aromatic. The wine list was excellent and comprehensive. Our server spoke perfect French and English and probably another language too. Host was cordial and checked on us twice. We will be back. Delicious food and exceptional service.
