Le Garrick, located in London's theatreland, is an intimate French restaurant. There is a homely restaurant at ground level, while at lower ground level the friendly bar/dining room has intimate nooks and booths for romantic moments. Expect classics and favourites of French bistro cooking; Faux filet Rib Eye or Onglet with sauce poivre or Béarnaise & French fries. For pudding choose from Crème brulée or Lemon tart among the classic desserts. The 2/C prix fixe menu is a lifesaver pre-theatre. In an area that's full of chains, Le Garrick is a one-off. Annual celebrations in the restaurant for Beaujolais Nouveau and Bastille Day. Perfectly located for Covent Garden, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and found that the downstairs area was very small and cramped with an excessive number of tables. We were so close to the couple at the table next to us, that we were subjected to listening to their conversation throughout our dinner. In the terms of the main course, we reserved a table at this restaurant specifically to enjoy a plate of cassoulet. Sadly we have enjoyed cassoulet at other French restaurants, specifically in Franshoek, South Africa, however this meal lacked the flavours we have previously experienced. Service was prompt and the pricing very reasonable.

Great little French Bistro, brimming with comfortable bustling atmosphere, friendly efficient service. Good set menu and wine by the glass. Reasonable prices for tasty French food. A regular for me when visiting g London.

Lovely little restaurant with a nice ambiance, pre theatre dinner was excellent value for money and very tasty, I would very much recommend Le Garrick, we’ll be sure to go there again.

Very traditional French bistro choices but very well done. Cassoulet and boeuf bourgignon were very good examples of rhe dishes. Tables a bit cramped but service was very good.

Great little restaurant. Staff welcoming and very polite. Food was fantastic. Service was quick. Very happy with our pre theatre meal and drinks. We will definitely be back !

Nice French restaurant with classic French food and dishes. The paté de campagne was great and so was boeuf Bourguignon. Downstairs was cosy but felt a bit too cramped and crowded at times, I expected an airier space. Overall a nice experience.
