    Normally this place is amazing. My wife and I have been here a few times. Their steaks are so good! But for some reason when we went on a Wednesday night we were a little disappointed. Usually the steak melts in your mouth and I felt it was kind of tough and dry. My wife got the scallops and she didn’t care for them at all. Like I said, normally this place is amazing so I’m not sure what happened in this last visit. When you pay that kind of money you expect the best of the best but this time was disappointing.

    We went for a celebratory dinner…. We ordered two aged ribeyes. Neither had no flavor. I’m shocked that this is a top 25 steakhouse in the US. I make a mean steak at home, at this point I’m a chef.

    Our server Alan and his serving assistant were outstanding. Just, the best. We were also very impressed with the bar manager. He was really fun and knowledgeable. Our food was fantastic. Ooh my goodness? We almost always come for brunch or lunch. But, it was such a treat to have dinner. All around WONDERFUL!

    Steaks not cooked properly, not seasoned properly, and sides very small for the cost. Much better steak options in Louisville, especially for the money.

    Incredibly disappointing experience at Le Moo. Booked a reservation on the patio in advance and still waited upon arrival while there were 7 people standing around the hostess stand and the restaurant was almost empty. We were the first patrons outside, our server was rude and said I “threw him off” after saying we were ready to place our order prior to him walking through his favorites on the menu. Waited 40 minutes for our appetizer, server did not check on us during that time. We received our food after over an hour of waiting. Ordered medium rare flights and received tasteless well-done, charred steaks that were sent back to the kitchen. We finally received our appetizer “to hold us over while they corrected our order”. Brought us new steaks, which were cooked to temp, but still completely flavorless. The first round of fries were cooked well. The second were over cooked. Nothing was consistently cooked. At 7pm on a Friday. Still charged full price for the meal. Several decent steakhouses around town, several good ones. Le Moo is neither. Don’t waste your money or time.

    My wife an I had an excellent experience at Le Moo last night. The server was friendly and helpful, our steaks were great and the ambiance was fine. They have a wide variety of choices on the menu. We will be recommending Le Moo to our friends and will be sure to visit the restaurant again.
