If you ask the brilliant minds behind Le Petit Paris, Fanny and David Rolland, They will say “We were born in a restaurant, literally”. From Grandpa to father, the restaurant business has been a natural part of their daily life.

They decided 15 years ago to create their first restaurant in Cannes, Le Petit Paris, Parisian brasserie, located in the middle of the international film festival city.

In order to give the opportunity of an unforgettable experience in Cannes to their international clientele, they decided to run a business on the beach with the combination of well being, relaxed and lay down on the beach with a cocktail and enjoying a gastronomic food.

David and Fanny were always striving to be surrounded by great collaborators in order to provide a real “savoir-faire” to their clients. They have been known worldwide now thanks to their hard work and dedication.

Drinks and wait staff were fantastic, but the food missed the mark at every step. Apps came out cold. Sauce was bland. Escargot had very little flavor (usually my favorite dish at French restaurants) and gritty. Lobster tail was extremely gritty. Duck was delicious, but the plate did not have enough sauce. It was really disappointing because the ambiance was fantastic and the drinks made for a great start. My wife and I really wanted to like it, but were disappointed. Bill came in just under $300 and I would not eat here again even with a bill of half that. Overpriced and underwhelming.

This was the most enchanting dining experience we've had in LA in years! Proprietor Davide greeted us as we entered the gorgeous restaurant. Our server Dimitra was outstanding in her knowledge of the menu items and her recommendations and attentiveness. Cami the sommelier was also wonderful as he steered us to a perfect Pinot Noir to compliment both my duck confit and my husband's filet with mushrooms. The atmosphere was amazing with perfect lighting (enough to see the menu and still feel romantic). We will be back most certainly!

Celebrated my 7-year anniversary here and couldn’t have made a better decision. The setting was intimate, we were able to take our small dog and they even brought out a small champagne gift to my surprise. Will be back soon!

Walking from the parking lot across the street to the restaurant you will experience the stench of human body waste. That’s not necessarily the restaurant’s fault, as downtown Los Angeles is like a third world country. However, I will not be going to Los Angeles again to spend a substantial amount of money and have walk through that kind of filth.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was amazing, I do recommend getting the pasta made inside the cheese wheel has a very unique taste but nonetheless amazing. The steak was perfectly cooked the vegetables that were plated with the steak were very fresh and seasoned. I am also thankful for the waiter, she elevated our experience by recommending a very tasty champagne to celebrate with.
