It had been 29 years since my last visit, and that had left such an impression on me that I have always wanted to go back. It wasn’t as formal as before but perfectly nice and it still feels special. The restaurant was relatively quiet but there were enough diners to give it a bit of a buzz. Food, wines, service - all top. I would go again anytime.

We were disappointed that there were no French-speaking staff available. We chose this restaurant to celebrate a 65th birthday because of our love for France, so this was a letdown. Additionally, we ordered the Crêpe Suzette expecting it to be flambéed at the table, but it was simply served without the expected presentation. In our opinion, this took away from the overall experience. We would, however, return, as the atmosphere and other aspects of the meal were enjoyable.

Another excellent evening at Le Pont de la Tour. Helpful Czech sommelier gave great advice and attention and the evening was only marred by a mix up with the starters, it it didn’t spoil and experience and outstanding evening.

Not up to standards of the past. My wife's crab starter was too salty to taste the crab but the staff went and got another one which was fine. Her risotto was tasty but overcooked. Her chocolate and praline pud still had lumps of ice in the centre. However my meal was good. It was a nice place to catch up with friends but, if we'd been there by ourselves, I would have asked the 13.5% service to be reduced to 12.5% as I never pay more than this.

I used to think of this restaurant as luxurious. Unfortunately on this occasion the service was poor to the point of rudeness, and my 11 year old daughter found glass in her desert. I will not be going to this restaurant again, and I was embarrassed of suggesting this restaurant to friends.
