Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favourite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

    Le Vallauris has 2 inside dining rooms for private parties each one with a capacity for up to 50 persons. The Patio can also be used on a "buy out" basis for up to 150 persons and a tree shaded Gazebo is available for up to 100 guests. These facilities are able to use an array of "prix fixe" menus.

                                                      We attended with friends for our son's 41st birthday. We were promptly seated at a perfect table (one of our party is in a wheelchair...). Drinks were ordered, the menu was explained in depth. Drinks and food arrived perfectly. All staff were great! Food was exquisite! An enjoyable time was had by all...!

                                                      Hadn’t been here in a few years. Glad to see that the food quality was still very high. The service was friendly, but not quite as sharp as we hoped. The wine list is very good. Still one of the best places for French style cuisine in the Coachella Valley.

                                                      Fantastic experience. Went with friends to enjoy a meal of oysters, lobster salad, and Alaskan halibut. The gluten-free soufflé was something I’ve never eaten before and thoroughly enjoyed. The service was fantastic and the six dollar valet was very easy to park.

                                                      Beautiful outdoor setting amid large decorative fig trees. Extensive wine list. Good starters -- excellent smoked salmon and hamachi crudo. Superb halibut entree with an intriguingly spiced light sauce.

                                                      My husband and I went for dinner last night to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. The setting was beautiful and we were spoiled if attentions from the minute we arrived. The food was excellent. We'll plan to go back again the next time we come to Palm Springs

                                                      Amazing and the best meal, service & ambiance you’ll find in Palm Springs. Edgar our server was a gem, so attentive. We went for my father in laws 80th birthday and they made it so special for us. I would highly recommend it. The patio is spectacular.

                                                      Went for Christmas dinner and the pre fixe menu was overpriced for the quality of the food. The service was okay but the servers had no awareness of timing. For instance, my wife and I took 30 seconds to toast and have a kiss at the end of our meal. The waiter literally drops the check in the middle of it…he could have recognized the moment and circled back in 1 min.
