Established in the heart of Palm Springs at the foot of the San Jacinto Mountains, Le Vallauris has been one of the highest rated restaurants in the Coachella Valley since its inception in 1973. The exquisite cuisine at Le Vallauris is prepared by Executive Chef, Gabriel Morales, Award winning Angeleno Chef who has replaced the long time Chef Jean Paul Laire as he retired in 2024. The Historic Landmark was built in 1927 as a home for the Roberson family, who managed Palm Springs' first hotel, The Desert Inn. Many grand parties were held in the house for guests such as Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and many more. Later on, when the restaurant was established it became a favourite place for Presidents and the Hollywood elite, and local socialites.

    Le Vallauris has 2 inside dining rooms for private parties each one with a capacity for up to 50 persons. The Patio can also be used on a "buy out" basis for up to 150 persons and a tree shaded Gazebo is available for up to 100 guests. These facilities are able to use an array of "prix fixe" menus.

                                                      Every aspect of the evening was: exceptional! Reading some of the recent reviews I was slightly apprehensive about the change of ownership/management but - nothing about ones experience has changed. We were able to secure a space on the patio for a friends/business dinner. Seated promptly, the quality of service was high and exceeded our expectations. The engagement from all staff was attentive, warm and friendly, and the quality of each of the dishes in our four courses was simply beautifully delicious. We engaged with the Farouk, the Sommelier, who offered an off-menu selection - elegant and paired with our variety of dishes very well. I still highly recommend Le Vallauris.

If is the most lovely part of the restaurant— we came for Valentine’s Day which was a fixed price menu- so a more limited choice of options for my husband who only eats fish .That said we both got the smoked salmon as a starter it was delicious. enjoyed that rack of lamp. It was cooked to perfection. With delicious and perfectly seasoned vegetables tables. The dessert choice were very limited. They menu should have had

                                                      Wonderful Valentines Day experience. Prix fixe was excellent with a wide array of great choices and ours were all delicious. We were impressed with how well managed and really enjoyed what can sometimes feel like too much of an assembly line meal at restaurants on such holidays. Bravo!

                                                      My husband and I celebrated Valentine's Day at this, our favorite romantic restaurant. I had the duck prosciutto salad and Monty had the beet timbale - both were excellent. For mains I had the roasted rack of lamb and he had the beef filet. They were delicious and prepared perfectly. We ended with the key lime and the cherry/pistachio - a perfect ending to a spectacular meal.
