   Their linguine/scallops (with veggies) special was delicious, as was their salmon and petrale sole dinners (though on the small-ish portion side). Food came out super fast, only feedback was we asked for an extra plate for the shared dinner and it was never brought out. We love Left Bank ! NCAA games were on in the bar, and people were happy.    For the price the food was underwhelming. Onion soup was pretty good but the sole was over cooked. My daughter had the beef carpaccio and said it tasted like less than good quality hamburger meat. My glass of wine was good. We asked to be served quickly and the waiter did a good job of that. I was expecting more and was disappointed.

   My biggest complaint is the restaurant is FREEZING making it uncomfortable and your food gets cold quickly. The food itself was fine and the service was fast. Not somewhere where you can leisurely eat.

   Left Bank has long been a favorite of mine whenever I'm in the Bay Area. I was meeting family who had come down from Sacramento, and they were happily surprised by the quality and variety of the food at Left Bank.

   Ordered raviolis - No taste whatsoever. The food quality over the years has changed from excellent to very poor!

    The food quality was fantastic last night and I prefer the slimmed down menu although I did always enjoy the Trout Almondine which is no longer served. The waitress was lovely and congratulated us on our anniversary and also helped me to use the new Vie de Vine app to redeem my coupon. There was a great jazz trio playing in the bar and they were very good, so we had a fabulous night out and will be back again soon
