Inspired by the birthplace of the original Parisian brasseries along the Left Bank of the Seine River, Left Bank Brasserie is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie by Chef Roland Passot. Left Bank pays homage to the joie
de vivre that is synonymous with the Left Bank neighborhood in Paris. Guests are invited to step into
French culture, in a vibrant, social atmosphere that captures all the charm of traditional brasseries
and iconic alfresco dining of France. An all-day menu features authentic French cuisine utilizing
seasonal, local and organic ingredients, and consists of iconic lighter fare such as oysters, tartare and
prawns provençal, in addition to heartier classics like coq au vin and beef bourguignon. Inspired by the
Parisian-style Bar Américain, an extensive cocktail menu features classics of a bygone era, along with a
wide range of rotating taps, seasonal drafts and bottled beer, and an expertly-curated wine selection.

Everything was excellent. When we travel to San Jose to visit our son, this is our favorite spot. We choose this restaurant 3 or 4 times a week during our visits. Yesterday and today were the same great experiences.

Sent Steak back twice. Requested med rare, 1st time was well done and blackened, second time cam out cool and raw inside, third time requested a cheeseburger. Wait staff was fairly inattentive. Manager was not fully aware of issues with the food, but the cheeseburger was comp’d

The food was great ! The ambiance was good ! The service was great, but the waiter had to take care of more tables due to staff shortage. He handled it, though!

Was a great evening out with Santa Row just changing over to the holiday season. The restaurant was busy but not crazy. Great atmosphere and top notch service. Food was great. Just a great evening!

Food is good. Pricing reasonably in one of the most expensive commercial districts in Bay Area. Attentive servers.

The beet and goat cheese salad was possibly the best beet salad I've ever had. I should've stopped there. I love salmon. And usually their salmon is good. But. The salmon with lentils was unremarkable. One note. Just tasteless. Other preparations I've had there were much tastier but this one had no flavor. My friend had pork chop and it came sliced, nicely seasoned and delicious. My husband had escargot, which he loved. Desserts were yummy. They make a good cappucino. But 2 stars off for that tasteless main dish, which could've been so much better.
