Please note when booking: Lunch at Lemaire ends at 2pm. From 2pm-5pm we offer a lounge menu. Full dinner starts at 5pm.

New American restaurant and bar that is inspired by the agricultural and coastal traditions and bounty of Virginia. Lemaire delivers the quality and service The Jefferson Hotel is known for, but in an accessible format without the pretense, formality or expense!

Complimentary self-parking is available in both the Adams Street and Main Street lots. Valet parking is $18/car

For special requests (cake, flowers, etc) guests must contact Lemaire directly.

Tables are held for 15 minutes.

Separate checks are not available for parties of six or more. A 20% gratuity will automatically be applies for parties of six or more.

Table/seating requests are noted but not guaranteed.

    LeMaire was wonderful! My dining companion and I were attending an event at the Carpenter Center and running late for our reservation. We called ahead and were accommodated upon arrival. The restaurant advised by signage that they were working on improvements, and when we entered our dining area it was apparent. Once seated we were fine, thanks to our server Dave. We let him know we were trying to make a curtain and made sure our order was priority level. LeMaire and The Jefferson are a step back in time to fine dining and artistry of food presentation and artwork on the walls. Each room was as if you were sitting in someone's personal dining room. Our food and drinks were wonderful. We would love to return!

    Another lovely dining experience at Lemaire! Our server, Sarah, was most attentive and professional. Our meal was delicious, both the chicken breast and the rockfish. One warning: The Fried Oysters appetizer is more like an entree in size - at least 8 oysters and a very generous serving of country ham - but, oh, so delicious!

    We had lunch at Lamiere in the stunning Jefferson hotel. My daughter got the three egg omelet and I had the crab cake sandwich. The food and service were excellent, and the ambience is unbeatable. The prices for their more limited lunch menu are very reasonable.

    Waiter was friendly and attentive. I am gluten free and he even offered their GF bread which was good. I split the Halibut with my husband and it was delicious.
