One of Chicago’s finest dining experiences awaits you in this elegant town home setting that balances formality and friendliness. Your dinner may be paired with fine wines, as uncommon ingredients come together in perfect harmony. In operation since 1978, Les Nomades remains true to its distinctive character as an oasis of civilized tranquility amidst the bustling activity of its Streeterville location. Culinary creations delight the most discriminating palates. Savor Sautéed Foie Gras, or Lobster Ravioli with seared scallops; Roasted Breast and Confit Leg of Duck, or Duo of Roasted Partridge and Bison. Artisan cheeses are extraordinary and the pastries are sublime.
Please keep in mind that proper attire is required including a jacket for gentlemen.

Les Nomades, one of Chicago’s finest restaurants, is a true world-class dining experience. The ambiance, service, and food are all exceptional. Our waiter, Michael, provided impeccable attention to our needs and made excellent wine pairing recommendations. It’s my go-to restaurant for fine dining and special occasions. Highly recommended!

This is a fabulous restaurant that has wonderful people and outstanding food! This restaurant has been around for a long time because it continues to out perform its competitors. You cannot go wrong at this landmark gem!

Incredible dining experience. Just the best. Food was spectacular. I started escargot and had the duck as my main course. Soufflé was to die for. Service was the best of the best.

There is nothing like Les Nomades. If you want a classic French Restaurant in Chicago in the tradition of Le Francais which they used to run this is the only place to go!

Wonderful classic fine dining which steps back to a less tense and rushed era to a formal friendly style leaving you with a superb meal served as if by your best old friends at a gentle non- rushed pace…such a contrast to usual frenetic pace of modern life.

The food was amazing. The portion sizes were generous and everything had incredible flavor and was cooked perfectly. We had the duck and braised short ribs as our mains and neither disappointed. The carrot cake was also different than anything I’ve had before and was not a typical “cake” but overall was one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time!

We were told that we would have to use cash when we walked in. When told that we did not have cash they told us not to worry and when the bill was due they would show us to an ATM. At the end of the meal we were shown the total and it was $600 for two. The ATM they showed us maxed out at $200 and there was a $4 fee. So we would have to pay $12 just for the honor of eating there. I ended up walking 15 minutes to get to my bank's ATM and took out cash there. The food and service was amazing, great atmosphere and a lovely meal. But that cash issue put a MASSIVE damper on the whole evening
