Level was established as a locals first atmosphere with welcoming attitudes to all. Our cocktails are all handcrafted with fresh juices, mixes, and garnishes. One of the many things that makes us unique is our ability and commitment to source as many fresh ingredients locally from the State of Maryland and surrounding markets. We are dedicated to supporting the area small businesses, watermen, farmers, and the environment on a local and global level. Our small plates style of dining encourages this sense of community and sharing. Level is located on the second block of West Street known as the Arts District.

    What an excellent experience! The service was top notch, food was tasty and hot, and the ambiance was fun and pretty. My husband I ordered the crab lettuce wraps, lamb chops, beef kabobs, grilled oysters and tuna tartare… we’d give everything 5 stars. The only item we didn’t love was the crab bruschetta due to the amount of mayo but the bruschetta bread was soft and delicious and crab was fresh and abundant. We’ll definitely come back to this restaurant.

    Trendy hip restaurant. Casual and welcoming with a local feel. Service excellent and on point. A few minutes after we were seated our server Mary introduced herself and checked on us frequently. She had several recommendations in regard to the food and wine and was very savvy about the menu. Tapas very reasonably priced and portions exactly as one would expect. All the servers who assisted with bringing plates to our table were friendly and professional. The wine list diverse and user friendly. Bottle of wine very reasonable. Ours cost $38. A large variety of small plates to choose from. The pork belly as well as the brussels’ sprouts were excellent. Duck confit also excellent with the cabbage and candied carrots. Those carrots were ridiculously delicious - a must have. The “Mac and crab” full of chunks of crab - no fillers- good. Scallops with bacon, good. Grilled oysters, good. Lamb chops slightly overcooked for my personal taste but the seasoning excellent. The trout papillote - a nice presentation but I thought slightly salty and overcooked. For dessert the banana bread pudding fabulous! Noise level moderate, acceptable as we could easily talk and hear each other. A great experience and a restaurant one could go back to over and over again! I understand the menu changes seasonally. For now I’m just looking forward to returning to try the roasted beet salad, the tenderloin kebabs and the short rib udon.

    The food was very delicious, good portions, well prepared. They have a wide selection of drinks. You will spend some $ so be prepared, but I think comparable to other restaurants in the area.

    We were celebrating a family birthday. Pace of service was excellent. The food was outstanding. A great experience and opportunity to share a wide variety of well thought out, tasty foods. Terrific experience!
