The Lewnes family has been in the food business since 1921. Lewnes' Steakhouse opened in 1994, specializing in USDA prime beef and exquisite seafood dishes. With its high back booths, low-lit ambiance and a waitstaff that is dedicated to first class service, Lewnes' is the premier spot for special occasions or private dining.                                                                                               The classic steakhouse experience was nailed, and the food was sublime. However, when you treat a couple in their mid-20s (25+) for a special dinner reservation on Valentine’s Day weekend, as if they’re an afterthought, it’s disappointing. We were eagerly anticipating savoring every course, but to be disregarded and assumed not to be spending a significant amount of money while witnessing larger parties (of older couples, I might add) being treated with utmost attention, it leaves us questioning the restaurant’s priorities.
