The Lewnes family has been in the food business since 1921. Lewnes' Steakhouse opened in 1994, specializing in USDA prime beef and exquisite seafood dishes. With its high back booths, low-lit ambiance and a waitstaff that is dedicated to first class service, Lewnes' is the premier spot for special occasions or private dining. Lewnes' boasts a Wine Spectator "Best of Award of Excellence" award winning wine list with over 450 wine selections to pair with your meal.

The food and service was great! The Greek salad was an unexpected delicious starter at a steak house. We also enjoyed the extensive wine list and guidance from our server. Would recommend to others!

Always a good take, been going to Lewnes for 20 years! Celebrating birthdays, taking clients etc. The service is awesome, always a table visit by owners. Best Steakhouse in Annapolis!

Absolutely outstanding!! The 2002 Spotswood was absolutely amazing. Our waiter Dave was so kind and his attention to detail was amazing!!

Just had a lovely evening celebrating my husband’s birthday. we asked for a quiet table for our party of 6 and we got a fabulous big table upstairs in the back room with minimal noise. Cheryl our server was wonderful, and put up with our banter. Thank you for a great evening. We will be back.

Server was great. Very personable and attentive. Ambiance was nice. There was an individual at another table who was loud and annoying. Not sure if the restaurant could have done much about it but I wasn’t expecting to hear that language at such a nice restaurant. The steak and tuna were delicious but the sides, asparagus and potatoes, lacked flavor.
