Calgary is home to some of the top restaurants in Canada. There are several traditional restaurants that have been part of its food scene for decades. These restaurants have a faithful following and serve recipes that have stood the test of time. Known as Stampede City or Cowtown, this city has its share of steakhouses and burger joints. Some are traditional while others have a more modern take on the world of beef. In Calgary, chic restaurants including sushi bars, cocktail lounges and stylish cafes are popping up all around Canada's Rocky Mountains.
