We had the most amazing experience. Josh our server was very friendly and knowledgable of the menu and history of Akira Back. We met sous chef Kim who answered all of our questions about the menu. The attention to every detail with table maintenance was spot on, and the food was well presented and simple. The food was delicious and fresh. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends. Thanks again for a memorable experience.

When you receive a menu that just says you have a choice of 3,5, or 7 courses you may be a little apprehensive about the food you will be eating. Every course was a delightful surprise. From the opening trout course with dried nori and 2 side sauces to dessert with vanilla mushroom ice cream! My favorite course was a beet salad with home made ricotta and macerated prunes. This restaurant is not for a picky eater (considering there are no choices as far as food is concerned) I recommend this restaurant highly for those people who love an interesting and delicious meal.
